The Existence of Pair Potential Corresponding to Specified Density and Pair Correlation

چکیده
Given a potential of pair interaction and a value of activity, one can consider the Gibbs distribution in a finite domain Λ ⊂ Z. It is well known that for small values of activity there exist the infinite volume (Λ → Z) limiting Gibbs distribution and the infinite volume correlation functions. In this paper we consider the converse problem we show that given ρ1 and ρ2(x), where ρ1 is a constant and ρ2(x) is a function on Z, which are sufficiently small, there exist a pair potential and a value of activity, for which ρ1 is the density and ρ2(x) is the pair correlation function.

Extension of Linear Isotherm Regularity to Long Chain Alkanes
In this work, we consider each normal alkane as a hypothetical mixtureof methyland methylene groups, in which the interaction potential of each pair is assumed to be the average effective pair potential. Then, the LIR equation of state (EOS) is extended for such a hypothetical mixture. Also, three basic compounds, namely, propane, n-butane and cyclohexane, are used to obtain the contributio...
متن کاملInvestigation into the temperature dependence of isotropic- nematic phase transition of Gay- Berne liquid crystals
Density functional approach was used to study the isotropic- nematic (I-N) transition and calculate the values of freezing parameters of the Gay- Berne liquid crystal model. New direct and pair correlation functions of a molecular fluid with Gay- Berne pair potential were used. These new functions were used in density functional theory as input to calculate the isotropic- nematic transition den...

In this paper the density and temperature dependencies of surface tension are investigated. Using the Lennard-Jones (12,6), as an effective pair interaction potential, a linear expression is derived for isotherms of g /r2 versus r2 for some normal and ChloroFluoroCarbons (CFCs)</...
متن کاملTHE EXTENDED LAW OF CORRESPONDING - STATES AND THE INTERMOLECULAR POTENTIALS FOR Ar-Ar, Ar-Kr AND Kr-Kr
An inversion procedure is used to obtain from the extended principle of corresponding - states the pair interaction potentials for argon, krypton and its mixture over a tetnperature range from absolute zero to the onset of ionization. The experimentally-reduced viscosity collision integrals obtained from the corresponding - states correlation have been inverted directly to give the reduced...
متن کاملPresentation of the Soft-Core Double Yukawa Potential for Noble Gasses using in sillico
The understanding of the intermolecular pair potential is important for determining the physical andchemical properties of the matter. The new data for noble gasses was calculated with Soft-CoreDouble Yukawa Potential (SCDY). We studied the effect of the Soft- Core potential on the phasebehavior with Hartree-Fock-Dispersion (HFD) Potential. This model had a steep repulsionexponential term and d...
